Established in 2024 as a strategic move to accelerate the digital transformation of Macedonian society, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is dedicated to fostering a modern, secure and inclusive digital society. Recognizing the increasing role of technology in economic development, democratic governance and everyday life, the Ministry plays a key role in shaping policies, designing and building digital infrastructure and advancing the digital skills of citizens and institutions. - Strategic planning – Preparation of key documents for digital transformation policies.
- Digital skills – Organizing and implementing programs to improve the digital competencies of the workforce.
- Cybersecurity – Ensuring the security of networks and information systems to protect the infrastructure of the public and private sectors.
- E-government – Pioneering the digitalization of public services for improved efficiency and accessibility.
- ICT infrastructure management – Developing and maintaining a national registry of information and communication systems within government institutions.
