The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole, Dejan Vladev, officially marked the beginning of the work of the new Service Centre, intended for the citizens of Sveti Nikole and the surrounding area.
"At the initiative of Mayor Dejan Vladev, we are here in Sveti Nikole today to open the new Service Centre. We managed to open an office in a very short time, which, with its three employees will offer over 300 administrative services to the citizens and legal entities in Sveti Nikole. All citizens who do not have the opportunity or do not know how to independently apply for a certain service through the portal, can contact the service office," said Andonovski.
The Minister added that currently two services are available: applying for a firearm permit and vouchers for ICT devices for students, about which it is necessary to create a user profile and, with personal identification, to elevate the level of the Single Sign-in System (SSS).
In response to a question regarding the report from the State Audit Office report on the Integrated Resource Planning System (IRP System), the Minister replied:
“The system, unfortunately, was left without maintenance for two years. Following the signing of the contract in January this year, we began implementing a serious action plan to overcome the shortcomings. Security testing and protection of users and data have been conducted, and now the connection to the official e-mail addresses of all users is being tested. With the completion of this package, we will have a system that we can trust. This system will be available to institutions outside the Service for General and Common Affairs (SGCA)— agencies, municipalities — that still perform material and financial operations on paper, “on foot,” via e-mail. Now this can be done through our system.”
He also announced that the system will be connected to the treasury work.
“This week we tested it in our ministry. We no longer need the accountants from the SGCA, because our employees in the Finance Sector do the calculations themselves. In the next phase, I would like, in order to optimize the work of the SGCA, each institution or ministry to handle the calculations independently. I hope that by developing these modules we will further improve the work of the system,” emphasized Andonovski.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole, Dejan Vladev, expressed gratitude for the excellent cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which resulted in the opening of this Service Center, which, according to him, will make it easier for all citizens of Sveti Nikole to utilize the opportunities offered by this ministry.
