The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, is today on a working visit to the Municipality of Kočani, where together with the Mayor Vlatko Grozdanov, promoted the new Service Centre – ETU (One-Point Services) Kočani. With the opening of the centre, the residents of Kočani and the surrounding area gain the opportunity to access electronic services in one place and receive support in using them.
In a statement to the media, Andonovski emphasized the importance of bringing digital services closer to the citizens, especially to those who need help in submitting electronic requests.
"With this Service Centre, we facilitate the access of the citizens of Kočani to the services of the institutions. Here they will be able to get help in using the National Portal uslugi.gov.mk, submit a request for the necessary document and more easily complete their administrative obligations. Our goal is to make digitalization accessible to everyone and to bring concrete benefits in everyday life," Andonovski pointed out.
With the new centre, citizens will have access to the electronic services available on the National Portal uslugi.gov.mk, including the issuance of birth certificates, documents from criminal and penal records, as well as services from the Agency of Real Estate Cadastre, the PIOM Fund and other institutions.
The minister expressed his gratitude to Mayor Grozdanov and the Municipality Council of Kočani for their support and collaboration in the implementation of the project, stressing that the joint commitment of the central and local authorities is significant for improving services for citizens.
"After the free Wi-Fi zones that Kočani received, today we are fulfilling another promise to the citizens. Thanks to the mayor and the Council of the Municipality for recognizing the importance of this project and contributing to its completion. Through such collaboration, we are creating conditions for citizens to access the services they need more quickly and easily," pointed out Andonovski.
Mayor Vlatko Grozdanov thanked Minister Andonovski for his cooperation and for fulfilling his promises to the citizens of Kočani Municipality, highlighting the significance of the new centre for the residents of the municipality and the surrounding area.
As part of the working visit, Minister Andonovski is scheduled to meet with representatives of companies from the IT sector, as well as with members of the STEM robotics club from Kočani.
