The Minister for Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, over the next two days, will pay an official visit to Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania.

The visit is at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of North Macedonia and will proceed according to an exceptionally dynamic agenda, encompassing high-level meetings and discussions with state institutions responsible for digitalisation, innovation, and cybersecurity.

On the first day of the visit, Minister Andonovski will meet with Edvinas Grikšas, the Minister for Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. During his stay, the minister will also hold meetings with the Deputy Ministers for Foreign Affairs and National Defence of Lithuania.

Minister Andonovski's visit once again affirms the strong relations between the two countries, as well as the recent decision by the Government to open our Embassy in Vilnius. The Embassy will also have a broader regional role, serving as a central point for covering the other Baltic states in political, economic, cultural, consular, and other areas of common interest.

The Republic of Lithuania is among the most active members of the European Union and NATO in the domain of security policies and the Union's enlargement policy, as well as a country that continuously supports the European integration process of the Republic of North Macedonia.
