Minister Andonovski participant in Impact Summit in Bucharest     “Artificial Intelligence is a revolutionary technology, but it should be developed with responsibility”

Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, is participating in the prestigious Impact Summit taking place this week in Bucharest, Romania. During today’s panel discussion on the topic: “Artificial Intelligence – Revolution, Apocalypse or Big Disappointment?”, the Minister addressed the importance of responsible development of artificial intelligence.

“Artificial intelligence is a revolutionary technology with the potential to transform economies and societies. However, we must not allow its speed of development to exceed our ability for responsible management,” said Andonovski.

He emphasized that the Government is actively working on building a legal, ethical and technological framework for the safe and inclusive use of artificial intelligence in the public sector.

This edition of "Impact Bucharest" brought together a large number of world leaders, experts and visionaries from the fields of technology, politics and business.

The address of Michelle Obama, the wife of the former US president, Barack Obama, attracted particular attention, who spoke about the impact of new technologies, leadership and innovation. The mayor of Bucharest, Stelian Bujduveanu, also gave his speech at the opening.
