Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski inaugurated the National Cyber Resilience Exercise, organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the US Embassy, with the support of experts from MITRE.
"Our goal is clear - to transition from political commitment to practical, tested and measurable resilience of the state in cyberspace. This means that the security of networks and information systems is not just technology – it is a combination of people, processes, trust and coordination”, said Andonovski.
The Minister emphasized that, with the Cybersecurity Strategy 2025–2028 and the alignment with the NIS 2 Directive, we have laid solid foundations for risk management, public-private cooperation and quicker incident response.
,,Today’s exercise is a step forward – testing our capacities through real scenarios and preparing for the establishment of a government CSIRT team. Gratitude to all institutions, partners and participants. Together we are building a technologically safe, institutionally coordinated and socially resilient Macedonia, in close collaboration with key NATO partners”, concluded Andonovski.
