The Minister of Digital Transformation held a working meeting with representatives of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (KSOM) and the Independent Trade Union of the Civil Registry Office (УВМК).
The meeting discussed a number of current issues, including the status of the collective agreement and the challenges faced by employees of the Civil Registry Office in their daily work. Special emphasis was placed on working conditions, as well as the need for further improvement of the systemic and organizational aspects of the institution.
The interlocutors agreed that citizen satisfaction and the provision of timely, quality and accessible services should remain a priority for both the management and all employees of the Civil Registry Office. The importance of not generalizing individual exceptions in the conduct was highlighted, which should not overshadow the dedication and professionalism of most employees, who responsibly and conscientiously perform their duties.
During the conversation, it was confirmed that there are individuals in the Civil Registry Office who are subject to criminal proceedings, but it was also noted that there is a significant number of professional staff who perform their work with integrity and responsibility.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation will continue to actively monitor the situation and cooperate with all stakeholders to improve the working conditions and the quality of public services provided by the Civil Registry Office.
