Andonovski: "Digital transformation must be accessible to all" - promotion of e-Kiosk terminals and e-Sandace

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, together with the Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, addressed the conference for the promotion of the national ICT Strategy SMART/MK 2030, emphasizing that digital transformation is realized through concrete, measurable solutions that directly improve the everyday lives of citizens.

"Digital transformation must be accessible to all, regardless of digital skills or access to personal equipment." – stated Minister Andonovski.

The focus of the address was on two key projects:

Service Terminals (e-Kiosk)

Today, Service Terminals (e-Kiosk) were promoted as a practical solution for digital inclusion and quicker access to services. The plan is for the terminals to be placed in frequent locations across the country and to be available 24/7, with a clearly guided process and visual instructions, adapted for citizens with a lower level of digital skills.

Through the e-Kiosk, citizens will be able to identify themselves with an ID card or passport, select a service, make a payment and receive the document immediately – printed on the terminal itself. The terminals are particularly important for rural areas, elderly individuals, citizens without permanent internet access and municipalities with limited administrative capacities.

e-Sandace – an official digital channel with the state

The Minister highlighted that the e-Sandace  represents an official, safe and legally valid channel for communication between institutions and citizens – a centralized place for receiving official documents, decisions, notifications and other acts with proof of receipt.

“It is important to emphasize: the e-Sandace is not an ordinary e-mail.” – stressed Minister Andonovski.

The system enables real-time notifications, faster delivery without waiting, tracking case statuses and more efficient administrative communication.

Concrete and measurable implementation

In the final part, the Minister emphasized that with the current digitalization of services, Document Management System in numerous institutions , interoperability, as well as with the e- Sandace and Service Terminals, the state is leading a concrete and measurable implementation of the digital transformation - with the aim of an efficient, accessible and European digital state.
