Andonovski at the 20th Annual Conference MASIT: The Government is a Partner of the Private Sector – Let’s Build the Most Modern Digital Administration in the Region

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, today participated in the 20th Annual Conference marking 25 years of MASIT. In his address to one of the discussions, Andonovski emphasized that digitalization is not just a technological process, but a systemic change that improves the way institutions work and communicate with citizens and businesses.

“We believe in the strength of domestic ICT companies. Therefore, we give them space to be project leaders, access to infrastructure through Vezilka AI and opportunities for innovation and development through EDIH INNOFEIT. Our goal is simple: technology created in Macedonia should become technology used by the region and Europe,” the minister said.

In a statement to the media, Andonovski emphasized the importance of the private sector and clarified that cooperation between the Government and companies builds the digital transformation of the country.

"I sent the message that we need to cooperate together, the Government has already decided in the past to rely on the private sector in the digitalization and digital transformation of society, and now we need to build projects together that will mean fulfilment in the country, but also the export of these products to Europe. I think we have excellent personnel emerging from universities, now is the chance to utilise them in the private sector, while also assisting the state," said Andonovski.
