The Municipality of Negotino is actively advancing towards the digitalization of processes and services for its citizens, focusing on enhancing efficiency, transparency and accessibility.
The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, visited the Municipality of Negotino today, where together with the Secretary of the Municipality of Negotino, Marija Naceva, were presented specific projects that aim to improve the work of local self-government and providing modern, fast and inclusive access to municipal services.
"It is already known that the Ministry of Digital Transformation facilitated the process for free WI-FI zones, and the Municipality of Negotino is one of the first to apply for this call. Today we are also discussing numerous projects that will follow in the process of digitalization of municipalities and bringing the municipality closer to citizens - so that they can access any service with one click," said Andonovski.
The first significant step has already been taken with the opening of the new Service Center of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The centre is the result of cooperation with the civil sector, and its further equipment is underway in order to be fully accessible to all residents of Negotino.
In the coming period, several key digital initiatives are planned:
• Introduction of new electronic services for increased accessibility and simplified administrative procedures for citizens and companies
• Connection to the national system for digital management of documents and objects, which will significantly improve the efficiency of the administrative process
• Setting up free Wi-Fi zones in public areas, in order to improve digital connectivity and inclusiveness
The goal of these activities is clear – every citizen, regardless of their place of residence, should have equal access to the benefits of digital transformation.
