Andonovski Visits Delčevo: Digital Solutions for More Efficient Municipalities and Better Services for Citizens

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, today paid a working visit to Delčevo, where he attended and addressed a session of the Development Council of the Eastern Planning Region, in front of the mayors and municipal representatives from the area.

The session discussed deepening cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and local self-governments, as well as integrating municipalities into the interoperability platform and the Document Management System (DMS).

The interoperability platform enables secure data exchange between institutions, while the DMS ensures electronic management and full traceability of documents and case files. Their implementation signifies faster procedures, less paper and waiting, greater transparency, and higher quality services.

"Data should move, not citizens. Digital transformation must be present in every municipality, as its true value is demonstrated through faster, simpler, and more accessible services," stated Andonovski.

As part of the stay, Minister Andonovski, together with the Mayor of Delčevo, Ivan Gocevski, also visited the new Tourist and Cultural Information Center.

The modern facility was equipped with support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation and will contribute to better representation of the cultural, natural, and local potentials of Delchevo and Pijanec region.

During the visit, was also highlighted the importance of the Service Center (ETU)—which is already operational in Delchevo. The high level of service utilization confirms that the Centre is of particular importance to the residents, providing them with easier access to public administration services.

"Delchevo is developing rapidly through projects that deliver tangible benefits and new opportunities for citizens. The Ministry continues to support local initiatives and modern solutions that improve the quality of services," stated Minister Andonovski.
