Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, will be on an official visit to Paris, France, in the next two days, where he will participate in the Paris Cyber ​​Summit 2026, one of the most important international forums dedicated to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
The summit's program is focused on strategic discussions regarding current security challenges in the digital space, the development of artificial intelligence and the strengthening of the digital capacities of states.
During the visit, Minister Andonovski will participate in a ministerial roundtable in the French Senate on the topic "Building Cyber ​​Capacities in the Western Balkans under Constant Threat", together with ministers and high representatives from the Western Balkan countries. The discussion will be dedicated to strengthening national and regional cyber capacities, collaboration among institutions, protection of critical infrastructure, dealing with hybrid threats and aligning with European standards in the field of cybersecurity.
At the roundtable, Minister Andonovski will present Macedonian experiences, the progress achieved and current priorities in the field of cybersecurity, with a special emphasis on the implementation of strategic and legal frameworks, strengthening institutional capacities and promoting regional cooperation as a key prerequisite for greater resilience and an efficient response to modern cyber and hybrid threats.
As part of the official visit to Paris, a meeting is scheduled with the French Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation, Anne Le Hénanff, during which delegations from participating countries will have the opportunity to present their key achievements as well as the possibilities for deepening cooperation with French institutions, exchanging best practises, and developing joint initiatives in the fields of digitalisation, cyber security, and the application of artificial intelligence.
The participation of the Republic of Macedonia in the Paris Cyber ​​Summit is another confirmation of the country's commitment to advancing digital transformation, strengthening cyber resilience and deepening international cooperation in areas that are of key importance for secure and sustainable digital development.
