The Minister for Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, today held a meeting with H.E. Nicole Varns, the Acting Ambassador of the United States of America, at which the excellent cooperation between the two countries in the field of digital transformation and cybersecurity was confirmed.
The meeting discussed the deepening of bilateral cooperation, especially in the area of cybersecurity, in the context of the recent meeting in the United States of America with Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, held a week earlier, at which the joint commitment to further enhance the partnership was confirmed.
In this regard, sincere gratitude was expressed for the support provided by the US Embassy, as well as for the technical and financial assistance in the amount of $5 million, provided by our strategic partner – the United States of America, intended to strengthen cybersecurity and digital infrastructure in the country.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation remains committed to promoting a secure, modern and resilient digital environment, in the interest of citizens, continuing the successful cooperation with the United States.
