Vardziski: Innovation and creativity are key to building a safe and inclusive internet space

Deputy Minister Radoslav Nastasijević Vardziski in his address at the South East European University and inaugurated the Hackathon "MKSafeNet Innovators 2025", which took place simultaneously in Skopje, Bitola and Tetovo, aiming to stimulate innovations in digital security, the fight against disinformation and the promotion of healthy online habits.

 

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, as the project leader MKSafeNet - Center for a Safer Internet, supported this hackathon, providing students with the opportunity to translate their ideas into concrete solutions, work in teams and learn from experts and mentors.

 

In his address, the Deputy Minister pointed out that at a time when the digital world brings numerous opportunities, but also risks, the innovations and creativity of young people are of crucial importance for creating a safe, secure and inclusive internet.

He emphasized that participation in the hackathon could result in the development of tools that will contribute to a safer internet for all, and each idea could be the beginning of a significant change for the entire community.
