The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, was a guest on the program Macedonian Radio – Radio Skopje, where he spoke about the new National ICT Strategy SMART/MK 2030, which is part of the government program, and announced the conference will take place on Friday, 19 December 2025.
During the appearance, the Minister emphasized that the event is organized based on the Government's decision of October 14, which adopted the National Strategy for the Development of ICT SMART/MK 2030, and announced a major promotional event titled: "Transforming the Future: A Digital Strategy for a Modern Society".
“Based on the Government’s decision of October 14, which adopted the national strategy for the development of ICT SMART/MK 2030, we are organizing a major promotional event – Transforming the Future: A Digital Strategy for a Modern Society,” said Andonovski.
He informed that at the conference, at the outset, the Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Hristijan Mickoski, will also address the audience, along with the partner ReSPA – the Regional School for Public Administration.
The Minister clarified that the strategy is based on four pillars, and the goal of the conference is to clarify priorities, institutional commitments and expectations by the year 2030:
1. Providing a modern, fast and accessible ICT infrastructure
2. Strengthening digital skills among citizens for easier use of digital services
3. Modernization and digitalization of public services, a process that is already actively being implemented
4. Encouraging innovation and development of artificial intelligence (AI)
At the end of the appearance, Andonovski extended an open invitation to all interested citizens, institutions, experts and stakeholders to attend the conference and become acquainted with the action plan of the digital transformation strategy until 2030.
