Vardziski: Secure communications infrastructure represents the foundation for the development of modern economies

At the opening of the international MBT conference in Skopje, Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation, Radoslav Nastasijevic Vardziski emphasized that in the context of accelerated digitalization, a secure communication infrastructure serves as the foundation for the development of modern economies, democratic institutions and resilient societies.

In his address, he emphasized that connectivity, broadcasting, cybersecurity and digital services are interconnected segments that provide secure access to information, efficient communication and greater resilience in crisis situations.

The Deputy Minister pointed out that significant steps have been taken in recent times to strengthen the digital ecosystem by promoting digital public services, improving interoperability and connectivity, as well as harmonizing with European policies and regulations in the field of digitalization, cybersecurity and electronic communications.

He stressed that new technologies bring significant opportunities for innovation and efficiency, but their successful implementation requires vision, collaboration and policies that encourage innovation and protect the interests of citizens.

"Digital technologies must serve the citizens, economic development, and the sustainable future of the state," stated the Deputy Minister.
