Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski today signed the third order banning 42 new illegal online gambling sites.
As of today, a total of 268 illegal online gambling sites have been closed.
"We are not stopping here, we will continue further. This is our promise that is becoming a reality! This is a fight against a pandemic of illegal gambling operators who steal from our citizens, from the youngest, from the unprotected. Therefore, Once again I urge our fellow citizens to withdraw the funds they have deposited on such gambling sites," stated Minister Andonovski.
According to Andonovski, the new Law on Gambling will additionally deal with the ubiquitous advertising and misrepresentation of gambling organizers.
