Today, a promotional screening of the educational animated film "Click Safely" was shown, realised within the framework of the MKSafeNet project – Centre for a Safer Internet, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The film was created as a result of creative collaboration between students and teaching staff, aimed at raising awareness of safe, responsible and ethical use of the Internet among children and young people. In a simple, comprehensible and educational way, the animated film brings closer the importance of digital literacy and safe behaviour in the online space.
At the invitation of the Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, students from the municipality of Kisela Voda attended the event, as well as the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, Beti Stamenkoska Trajkoska.
"Click Safely is an educational animated film, realized within the framework of the MKSafeNet project - Center for a Safer Internet. This is the last activity with which we conclude the Month of Safer Internet and our European project MKSafeNet. The film is intended for the youngest audience and aims to bring closer the importance of digital literacy in a simple and understandable way, as well as the safe, responsible and ethical use of the Internet," said Andonovski.
The minister also added that technology should be used wisely and and that attention must be paid to the risks: "At a time when children are encountering the digital world in their earlier age, it is our shared responsibility to create an environment where technology serves as a tool for learning, creativity, and development, rather than a source of risks. Therefore such initiatives are particularly important - they encourage cooperation among institutions, schools and parents, with a common goal: a safer Internet for every child." said Andonovski
The animated film will be available in all schools across Macedonia, and all TV stations will have the opportunity to broadcast it. The Ministry of Digital Transformation remains committed to policies and projects that strengthen digital literacy and online safety, especially among the younger generations.
With the promotion of "Click Safely", the Ministry of Digital Transformation once again confirms its commitment to promoting digital culture, raising awareness about online safety and creating a safer digital environment for all children.
