The Ministry of Digital Transformation has prepared the Draft Law on Open Data and Reuse of Public Sector Data, which has been published on ENER and is available at the following link:

The preparation of the draft Law is within the framework of the process of aligning National Legislation with the law of the European Union and European policies in the field of open data and reuse of public sector data.
In this regard, MDT in cooperation with the "Metamorphosis" Foundation invites you to a public hearing that will allow for an open discussion, exchange of opinions and submission of specific proposals and comments regarding the proposed legal solutions, in order to improve the text of the Draft Law before its adoption.
The public hearing will be held on 28.01.2026 (Wednesday), starting at 10.00 am, at the Innovation Center "InnoX", Skopje.

During the event, the updated Open Data Portal will also be promoted, as well as the AI ​​assistant (Chat-bot) developed in cooperation with Makedonski Telekom.
